a much needed update

So it has been about 10 months since I last posted. Mainly because I forgot a had a blog, now I will do my best to keep you all up to date with my life as sometimes boring as it may be.  Well, our little Lacey is 10.5 months old now and super busy crawling everywhere.  She likes to be where ever her big sister Brooke-Lynn is.  Brooke is 5 and just graduated from preschool today.  She is loving her jazz, tap and ballet classes.  David is making knives full time right now and is loving it and I love seeing him so excited about something.  I am busy chasing the girls and being 33 weeks pregnant.   We  are having another little princess.  Her name will be Ashlie Kate Roeder.  She is due July 10 2012 one week before Lacey Bug's first birthday :)

Lacey Ann Roeder

Miss Lacey Ann Roeder entered the world Sunday July 17, 2011 at 6:06 pm weighing in at 6 pounds 14 ounces and was 19 1/4 inches long. I was supposed to be induced Sunday night at about 9 but she had other plans.  My water broke early Sunday morning at about 3:30 I took a shower thinking that I could possibly go back to sleep. NOPE!! I woke Dave up and told him that it was time. He of course was not all the way awake so it took him a minute to actually wake up and realize what was going on.  We headed to the hospital and we were told to stay because yes we were going to have a baby. :)  We did the rounds around Family Birthing and at about 10:00 in the  morning the doctor gave me some potassium to help things along.  According to Dave I did AWESOME through the whole thing.  Lacey was born with  the cord  wrapped around her little neck twice and her shoulders and waist once.  So the poor little bug was sent to tot her he special care nursery for a few hours.  We got her back a few hours  later.  We had her out with the nurse so that we could get some rest.  Well, miss Lacey Bug decided to stop breathing for a little bit. Of course they rushed her back to the nursery she ended up with an infection and she has to stay there for 48 hours on the antibiotic which will be up here in about an hour. So we will be going home tomorrow :) YEAH!!!

desire (or rather lack of)

OK, So I'm almost 29 weeks pregnant, I would like to be more intimate with my husband.  Though for some unknown reason, at least it is unknown to me. I have very little desire lately.  It is bugging me and frustrating the heck out of my husband.  He told me tonight that I do not even let him snuggle up next to me in bed at night or let him put his hand on my tummy.  I have no clue on that one.  I really do not remember things at night that happen while I'm sleeping.  I need some helpful advice on this subject please.  GRR!!

Brooke-Lynn was right :)

So we went to have an Ultra Sound yesterday. Luckily little one was cooperating and we were able to find out what we are having. We are having a little girl, Lacey Ann Roeder. She is doing good growing and moving . She weighs about 2 pounds and 2 ounces or so. I'm so excited to meet her in July.  Brooke can not wait to wear matching clothes.

We should not be here

So, it is April 2nd and the Afternoon session of general conference will be starting here in about in hour or so. Where am  I? Well stuck at home we were supposed to be in Utah attending G.C. live and in person.  The plan was to leave super super early Friday morning.  Well, payment of a knife was not made and has yet to be paid. So we are stuck here at home.  Though we will be there come hell or high water in October David said. We could go earlier but I'm thinking October because we have a baby due the end of July.  OK I'm done

GO AWAY Grumpies!!

So yesterday little miss Brooke-Lynn woke up with a severe case of the grumpies.  Nothing at all seemed to help her so she was sent to bed and had to listen to this song by Tory Christensen, called go away Grumpies.  It seemed to work the grumpies left until today at the worst possible time.  We were at the doctor's office to listen to the baby and to get the U/S set up. Well I had to go potty and she stayed with David and threw a huge fit complete with major attitude. So I went back by myself to listen to the baby's heart.  The little one is doing good.  We get to find out next Wednesday what we are having.  Here's hoping that the Grumpies are gone for a LONG TIME!!!!

I’ve got the Grumpies and I don’t know why

I’ve got the Grumpies and they are making me cry

Sometimes I wake up and I’m feeling sad

I’ve got the grumpies and I start Getting mad

So I yell . . . . .

Go away Grumpies

I want to go out and play

Go away Grumpies

You can’t ruin my day

But sometimes the grumpies, they’ll sneak up on you

And that’s when the grumpies, start telling you what you should do

But don’t you listen say, “Stop right there.”

Make a mean face and give that grumpy a scare.

Just yell . . .

Go away Grumpies

I want to go out and play

Go away Grumpies

You can’t ruin my day
